He was Henry VIII,the one who caused the separation between Catholic and Protestant Church 5 Who did Elizabeth send to explore the world? She sent her sea captains Sir Walter Raleigh and Francis Drake 6 What did the explorers bring from the South America? They brought:turkey,pineapple,potatoes,tomatoes,chocolate,hot chilli peppers,vanilla and maize,good things for us! 7 What was Elizabeth like? She was a strong,clever woman,she loved arts,theatre music and paintings 8 Did Elizabeth protect artist? Yes she did,she helped Shakespeare and she loved Shakespeare's plays In Renaissance time Artists were often protected by Royal family or nobles : it was a wonderful period!! In Tuscany we had MEDICI's Family : GREAT !!
